aloha peoples. I got back from hamline camp tonite. omg it was really fun and REALLY hot. god it was like 90 degrees and there was no ac in the dorms. but yeah it was wayy fun, danni, bri, tash, tia (tbone lol), rowan, tori, kelsey fun times this week. gunna be weird not falling asleep tonite without being asked if i want some grapes or at least hearing danni talking to scooby. but I am glad to be in my nice air conditioned house and to be able to sleep in my own bed. but yeah i have my picture of chocolate thunder aka larry davis. omg danni i wanna meet him SO bad!! and i don't think i'll be able to look at some guy i don't know and not check out his ass lol. gosh i like don't know what to do with my free time right now like it feels so much later than it is...hmm maybe cuz i got like 6 hrs of sleep and did 6 hrs of gymnastics today...yea probly. But i FINALLY did doubles on tramp on weds and thurs and danni bought me a snickers cuz i did...yes. def love the grapes and snickers and popsicles.
But anyways....i got my ticket to go to chicago! I'm excited cuz i getta go visit Katie by myself and i might get a cell fone outta it too! yay. But that's not for like another month. Gosh summer is oing by SOOOOO fricken fast like the 4th of july is like almost a week away....ahhhhh. that's just plain scary. not that i don't like the 4th but that means it's already july. yikes.

Shiver

Hey all. summer's been treating me pretty well so far. Katie came up to the lake with my family on saturday and nancy and sydney came on sunday after their soccer tournament. That was fun, first lake weekend of the summer which was hard for me to believe, not quite sure why. Katie and I spent some time behind the boat on the jetski thingy which was so much fun "AHH I CANT SEE!" Syd was scared of the fish so when we went out on the rafts she wouldn't stop kicking which got us al wet. nancy acquired two nicknames-weed checker and gimpy tehehe. And then I got pretty burnt yesterday or so it seemed but it pretty much all turned to tan today so thats kewl. other than that I haven't been up to too much lately. I hafta go get a bone scan tomara because they think i might've stress fractured my back. bah!! And camp's next week so i'm really hoping they won't say I hafta rest it for a long time or anything. that would totally suck. But maybe it's not fractured just like "overused" as the guy put it last week. But yeah, camp's next week. Like half excited for that. Really excited to room with danni and hang with everyone and have Krissy for dance, that's like the best part of my whole day. But i'm kinda freaking out wondering what I'll hafta work this year, it happens to me almost every year and usually it turns out fine cuz they never make you do anything you're really scared of or anything but this year my idea is to really push myself because I wanna have my level 6 routines as good as I can get them come september...the first meet. I really need to mke state in december this year because I need to be a 7, even if i can't compete 7 yet. I suck at pushing myself and meeting goals though. Guess I'll just hafta change my ways. I should write about that! Gosh i've just like run out of ideas lately cuz I usually write about love or lack thereof but it gets old after awhile, ya know? I've tried ot write about my faith but it always turns out so cheesy and superficial sounding. I'll hafta right about drive, perserverance and determination then maybe it'll cause me to push myself harder.

Hey! ok get ready for a long random entry. I haven't actually updated with like what's happening in SO long and I STILL haven't been able to get anything written like poetry wise. argh.
Well it's summer now....finally! It's been ok so far. Friday was way fun, sat and today were alright. It was kinda funny cuz I was listenin to usher's confessions album for some reason yesterday and it made me feel like it was last summer again. That was like the soundtrack of last summer along with switchfoot's the beautiful letdown. But I remebered cruising in the new boat, sittin up at like midnite memorizing the words to confessions part 2, trying to learn amanda's dance to "Yeah", Cory tellin me he listened to it during wt. training. Idk made me nastolgic (sp?!)
Last sumemr was a really good summer for me for the most part. tons of new experiences and tons of spending time with my bff's. Who knows maybe this one will be even better. i wonder what this summer's "soundtrack" will be though....hard to say at this point.
Anyways I've gotta start tring to write something cuz I haven't in so so so long and I feel like I really need it. not that i'm like depressed I still need that release tho. And the last time I was gonna write which was a few weeks ago at the lake I was just so confused and angry along with being depressed that I ended up ripping up stuff rather than writing. It's turned out good tho, we're on the same page and things are under control.
And then there's me trying to grasp hold of my faith again. After the mission trip last year and confirmation in the fall my faith was like more than it's ever been and it felt amazing. But now i've lost hold of it again, I get the feeling back every so often but it's kind of like holding onto a slipper bar of soap, u have it for a second and then it disappears and falls out of your hand and you hafta search for it all over again. idk i found it a few weeks ago when i pulled out my newsboys cd for the first time in a LONG time and by the last song i was in tears. Oh by the way i've decided not to read jeremiah or 1 chorinthians, rather genesis or if i get bored with that maybe some psalms.
So yeah that's about it for now. here's some lyrics.
